About this listen
In this episode we cover a topic that is often viewed as taboo: Mental health and accounting
The truth is most accountants are people pleasers: We want to make sure our clients our happy, we want to make sure the partner is happy and we often do this at our own detriment which leads to anxiety, imposter syndrome, and burnout.
I sat down with Brandon and Cassie, 2 licensed mental health clinicians, to discuss how to take baby steps towards improving our overall mental health and start caring for ourselves rather than everyone else.
I also opened up about my own anxieties and the things that I struggle with in hopes that it resonates with you all and hopefully brings you value.
If you are struggling with getting control over anxiety, burnout, or anything else we discuss please reach out to a mental health professional in your area
