The month was originally called National Men's Health Week and was signed into law by President Clinton. The month's goals include: Raising awareness about men's health issues Encouraging men to take steps to improve their well-being Promoting early detection and treatment of diseases Encouraging men to lead healthier lifestyles Increasing awareness about the importance of mental well-being Encouraging men to seek help when needed
