  • Tina Teope - 20 July 2025 - Now Go Do It
    Jul 20 2025

In an age of information overload, how do we take action - take the steps to follow the narrow path and live life with Jesus?

Covering Matthew 7:13-29, Tina gives us part 2 of 2 of 'The Sermon Concludes' series - wrapping up Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.

Tina also leaves us with some practical steps for the week ahead:

    'Your Rule of Life'

    • Have a think about your current ‘rule of life’ – what habits and rhythms do you already have in your life to draw you deeper into Jesus? Pray about how you could go deeper.
    • Write down possible tweaks to your ‘rule of life’ and pray over this. (You could include times of prayer, Bible reading, silence and solitude, fasting, church /house church /small group, Sabbath / slowing and rest, etc).

Want to learn more? Listen to John Mark Comer’s teaching on a ‘Rule of Life’ (also available on Spotify).

  • Rod Edwards - 6 July 2025 - The Blame Game
    Jul 6 2025

It is not loving to “pick on people, jump on their failures, criticise their faults”. So how can we help guide or correct someone? And is it always appropriate to do? How do we honour God and each other when we mess up? And what does it take to ask another for correction or guidance in your own behaviour?

Rod explores these questions with scripture and wisdom.

Covering Matthew 7:1-6 (and Galatians 6:1), this is part 1 of 2 of 'The Sermon Concludes' series - wrapping up Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.

  • Tina Teope - 20 April 2025 - Easter 2025: What are you looking for?
    Apr 23 2025

We asked the question this Easter, 'what are you looking for?' In this sermon, Tina suggests an answer centred around this verse in John: "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." (John 17: 3 NIV)

How would you describe your 'knowing' of God? Factual? Relational? Moving towards 'union' with him?

After listening to Tina's sermon, allow 5-10 mins to sit in the quiet, stilling your mind and heart, and ask God to draw you into a deeper knowing of him, so that you, like the old man in the church Tina talks about, might one day be able to say "I look at Him, and He looks at me, and we are happy."
