In 2008 Mary Wineberg won Olympic gold in the Women’s 4x400 Meter Relay at the Beijing games. She was the first University of Cincinnati female African American athlete to win an Olympic gold medal. Today, Wineberg is an educator, the author of two books and a motivational speaker.
