  • #196 – Thunderbolts: The Underdog Avengers (Reflection #3)
    Oct 6 2025

Five months after its release, Thunderbolts is still living rent-free in my soul. This is our third conversation about the film — not a recap, but a reflection on what sticks after the hype fades. From Bucky’s scars to Yelena’s transformation, John Walker’s stigma, Ghost’s pain, Red Guardian’s yearning, and Val as a dark mirror of Fury — these are Marvel’s flawed, haunted heroes who still earn their place. And then there’s the tension: Sam Wilson, trying to form his own Avengers, only sees Bucky running with misfits under Val. That collision of perspectives — polished Captain America vs. scarred Thunderbolts — sets the stage for some of Marvel’s most charged storytelling ahead. The Void, friendship, redemption, second chances — this is Marvel’s grittier team story, and it deserves a spotlight.

  • #195 – Between Now and Doomsday: The Gauntlet’s in Your Hands
    Oct 3 2025

Marvel’s slate may look thinner between now and Avengers: Doomsday (Dec 2026), but that just opens the door for deeper dives, long-overdue revisits, and listener-driven choices. In this special look-ahead, host Eric Sequeira (a.k.a. Mr. Honest) lays out the roadmap: from Thunderbolts and Wonder Man to Blade, X-Men ‘97, the Defenders era, and even Spider-Man’s video game saga. Plus, how the Spider-Verse films and Tobey/Andrew rewatches could set the stage for Secret Wars. Your input matters — even months (or years) after this episode drops. Email MarvelManiacPod@gmail.com with what you want to hear covered. Between now and Doomsday… the Gauntlet’s in your hands.

  • #194 – The More Thanos, The Better (Infinity War vs. Endgame)
    Sep 29 2025

Thanos isn’t just Marvel’s greatest villain — he’s Marvel’s most complete villain. Calm philosopher in Infinity War. Vengeful warlord in Endgame. And somehow, the centerpiece of my comfort rewatch. In this episode, I break down the duality of Thanos:

    • Why his Infinity War arc is terrifyingly logical.
    • How Endgame turns him from savior to conqueror.
    • His lasting shadow over the MCU — and what it would take to bring him back.

The more Thanos, the better. Follow @MarvelManiacPod everywhere and join our Patreon for minisodes every Saturday at 6 AM.
