Marketplace Invasion (Ep. 23)

  • Summary

  • Many people have heard the story of a man or a woman who traveled to a faraway place to share the gospel. Once there they see the need, the pain, and the desperation of the people. Shaken to the core, they return to their old life, sell everything, and dedicate their lives to sharing the gospel with the lost.

It’s a familiar story and a holy one for sure. But what about a man who saw the need, had his heartbroken for the lost, and then heard the Lord to return to his work and build a business that would impact the nations? That story, well that is a new one.

But that is exactly what happened to our guest Joel Brennan. While traveling overseas and ministering in the nation of Pakistan, Joel saw the poverty, brokenness and desolation of entire families who had been sold into slavery to pay their debts. Little children as young as 4 and 5 years old were forced to make bricks in order to atone for their parents' debts.

This heartbreaking experience caused him to cry out to the Lord and get fresh revelation for his life. He asked God what He wanted him to do. God’s command was to return to the marketplace and create wealth for kingdom purposes.

In this episode, we hear from Joel Brennan about what it is like to operate in a spirit of revival to see the marketplace impacted for the kingdom of God. It’s an episode you won’t want to miss!
