About this listen

I am finally back (after a brief hiatus). Not only with a new episode, but also with a 4 month-old daughter.

Today's episode, recorded earlier this year while I was pregnant, is short & sweet, but FEISTY .

I haven’t met anyone as determined to make sh** happen as Mariposa. She completely won me over from our very first chat and I couldn’t wait to share with you her story and badass personality.

Her Spotify bio gives you a hint of who she is as an artist but in this conversation you will learn who the actual human behind the artist is and maybe get some inspiration to also grab your destiny in your own hands and build the life that you want, with integrity, creativity and courage (like she did).

She’s unapologetically herself, multi-talented, mega badass, but somehow manages to stay humble and super nice. She’s an actual queen.
Amsterdam raised, Colombian-Italian, Mariposa is the thrilling global Y2K-tinged artist you need to know. She is redefining what Latin rap can be today with her sound and DIY-aesthetic. She taught herself how to make music and put out her first songs in 2021. She is at the forefront of a movement shifting the music landscape to be more fluid and inclusive, representing a generation that exists between cultures, languages, genres and multi-dimensional identities.

Please enjoy our chat and watch out for more BTS content on the @addtoqueue_ IG. Also make sure to follow Mariposa and stream her music HERE.

Thanks for listening!
