    Mar 16 2026

What do you do when following God leads to challenges?

In this message we explore how the early church responded when opposition and hardship came their way. Instead of giving up, they discovered that God had already given them the strength and spiritual tools they needed to stand firm.

Through prayer, praise, faith and the power of God’s word, believers are reminded that the battles they face are not fought alone. Even in difficult moments, God is at work and His power is greater than any obstacle.

What do you do when life doesn’t go to plan?

In this message we explore how challenges, disagreements and closed doors are often part of the journey of faith. Instead of stopping us, they can redirect us toward God’s bigger purpose.

Through the story of the early church and the perseverance of people who kept going despite opposition, we are reminded that God can use even the most difficult seasons to position us for something greater. When we trust His leading and keep moving forward, what looks like a barrier can become the doorway to new opportunity.

Faith is rarely a straight line. We often imagine life with God as predictable and smooth, but most meaningful journeys include detours, challenges, surprises, and moments that stretch our trust.

This week’s message reminded us that when the Holy Spirit leads, we are invited to step beyond comfort and into courage. Drawing from Paul and Barnabas’ first journey, we see a pattern repeated again and again: opportunity and opposition travel together. Doors open, lives change, but there are also misunderstandings, disappointments, resistance, and moments where plans fall apart.

Yet the gospel keeps moving forward. Not because people are perfect or fearless, but because they remain obedient to God’s call. Paul and Barnabas did not stay where it was safe or familiar. They ventured out, trusted God with the unknown, and returned with stories of lives transformed and faith strengthened.

As a church and as individuals, we are reminded that growth does not happen if we stay where we are. When the Spirit says go, the invitation is to trust, to step out, and to believe that God is already at work ahead of us.
