Studierte Physik und Philosophie, führt seither ein journalistisch-akademisches Doppelleben. Als Philosoph lehrte er an den Universitäten Bern und Zürich. Als Journalist war er Mitglied der Chefredaktion erst beim „St.Galler Tagblatt“, danach bei der Zürcher „Weltwoche“. Seit 2001 freier Publizist, Vortragender, Hochschuldozent, Kolumnist. 2019 erschien sein philosophischer Bestseller «Für ein Alter, das noch was vorhat. Plädoyer fürs Mitwirken an der Zukunft». 2022 das Buch «Jung & Alt» (beide im Verlag Rüffer & Rub). www.ludwighasler.ch
