    His name was Dakota Levi Stevens. He was bright, affectionate, and only ten years old — a foster child who had already lived through more than most adults ever will. But what unfolded inside the home where he’d been placed just weeks earlier would leave his family shattered, investigators horrified, and the foster care system facing questions yet again.
