  • Amy and Brian Fanion
    Oct 28 2025
Amy and Brian Fanion were pillars of the Westfield, Massachusetts community. Married for over 30 years, active in their church, Amy was a beloved stay-at-home mom and Brian a well-respected police detective. When Brian called 911 shortly after noon on May 8th, 2018 to say that Amy had shot herself in the head, no one who knew the couple well doubted his story. But as investigators delved into the evidence, a different picture started to emerge. Was it possible that this highly regarded police officer killed his wife in a premeditated, cold-blooded manner?

    Oct 27 2025
Dr. Anthony Pignataro was a Buffalo-area plastic surgeon with a taste for luxury and a reputation for confidence (some might say arrogance). He claimed to be an innovator, even creating a bizarre “snap-on hairpiece” that bolted directly to the skull. But beneath the image of success was a trail of questionable surgeries, mounting complaints, and growing chaos at home.

    Oct 17 2025
In April 2016, eight members of the Rhoden family were found shot and killed in cold blood in the small community of Piketon, Ohio. The killings were targeted and methodically carried out at four different crime scenes, leaving behind very little evidence. It would become one of the most complicated and lengthy investigations in Ohio history. The question on everyone’s mind: Who would mercilessly kill an entire family in cold blood?

  • Susan and Josh Powell - Part 3
    Oct 16 2025
Susan Powell was last seen on December 6, 2009. She and her husband of 8 years, Josh Powell, lived in West Valley City, Utah. In recent years their marriage had been strained due to financial issues and Josh’s detachment from his marriage. When the Powell’s two young sons, Charlie, 4, and Braden, 2, didn’t show up at daycare and Susan didn’t show up at work, their friends and family were instantly worried. Hours later, Josh was reached on his cell phone. He said he’d left at 1 am and taken his sons camping despite the cold and snowy conditions while Susan stayed home. Josh assumed she went to work. Police interviewed Josh but he was evasive and unhelpful. However, he was not arrested. What followed was a frustrating years-long investigation, a creepy obsession, an ugly custody dispute, and a tragic end.
