USC vs Notre Dame is personal to a lot of Trojan fans and the rivalry means even more to the players who played in the games, including guys like Marvin Powell and Keyshawn Johnson.

Segment 1.--MVP3 talks about his reaction when he heard the news that the rivalry is being suspended, and he also has some perspective from some other players and their feelings on the situation.

Segment 2.--We all should have seen the news coming in July during B1G Conference Media Days when Lincoln Riley talked about the rivalry and its importance. I have his quotes and what it meant then and how it worked out.

I didn't think the powers that be would let happen, however, the USC vs Notre Dame Rivalry is over for the foreseeable future and college football is the biggest loser.
