Pastor Dooba resumes our verse by verse series through the Gospel of John with John 19:17-27, during the
last hours of Jesus' life before the cross. Our interludes in Jonah and Ruth were strategic: Jesus is about to give the people of His day the "sign of Jonah" (Matthew 12:39-40, Luke 11:29-30) and fulfill the duties of a redeemer, not only for Israel, but for the whole world.

Pastor Dooba continues our second (and final) intermission from the Gospel of John with the final part of a four part series through the book of Ruth, covering Ruth chapter 4. Ruth's story began with famine, death, and uncertainty, but concludes in blessing, new life, and assurance or redemption. And redemption not only for Ruth by Boaz, as through them would come the family line of the Redeemer of the world: Jesus Christ
