Some college hockey powerhouses have tumbled! 3 big squads, Penn State, Western Michigan, and Michigan State all lose games to some questionable opponents. Is it time to overreact over these teams? Did the rankings boost them too high? Or do we need to give the winners their flowers? The Ice Breaker tournament happened last weekend too, with ASU snagging the title. The 2025 Frozen Four takes place this Thursday with the championship game on Saturday. First matchup - two NCHC squads fighting it out with the red hot Western Michigan Broncos taking on the defending champs in the Denver Pioneers. Can Western keep their amazing season alive, or will the champs go back-to-back? Then after that, we have a very exciting game between Boston University & Penn State.
