This a perfect reflection of Love of Jesus on the cross.The mystery of Christianity is not confined to the glory of the Resurrection alone but is deeply rooted in the suffering of the cross. For the cross declares that God was not distant from our afflictions, but rather, He became suffering itself. In His boundless love, He took on the weight of our pain, transforming agony into the doorway of grace.
Suffering leads to Salvation, just like Jesus sufferenting on the cross lead to death of the flesh and gave life to the soul. thereby saved by the suffering of Jesus and recursion
