    Every year since 2008, Congress proclaims a Saturday in December as National Wreaths Across America Day. December 16th was chosen for 2023 so on that day more than 2 million Veterans’ Wreaths will be placed across local, national, and military cemeteries as well as veterans’ memorials and historic sites.

    WLA Inc. is honored to be a transportation partner and servant with Wreaths Across America for 2023, providing two trucks with trailers and drivers (who also happen to be Veterans) for participation in the ceremonies and events. VFWs, Local Veterans, local agencies, schools, and everyday citizens will be attending and participating in the ceremonies of deliveries to 10 Veteran cemeteries throughout Florida beginning December 13th.

    Courtney George, Manager of Transportation and Industry Relations at Wreaths Across America,  joins host Ingrid Brown this week to share the history, the heart, and the story of the people of Wreaths Across America. Courtney also brings to us the true meaning of  “REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve . . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom”
