Hello everybody, thank you for sticking around, and welcome to the new series "The Hustle." In this first episode, I discuss how I was able to level up as a teen mom. I purchased a home and started a business. It wasn't an easy journey but due to my support system and my desire to give my children a good life, I worked hard to make it happen.

This is the final episode of this series, Tales of a Teenage Mom. I share about how I gave birth to my son at home as my 3-year-old slept through it. I talk about how being their mom wasn't easy, but I was determined to give them a good life and to raise them to be good people. I express the importance of being a good role model for your children and how, even at 16, I wanted to give my baby the best life possible. I discuss the importance of being able to co-parent and showing your children love, and never speaking badly about the other parent. Being a teen parent was hard, and I never glorify or glamorize it; however, I do say if it happens, lean into your faith and find a strong support system. Give your children a chance by dealing with your own traumas; they did not ask to be here.

In this episode, I share more about what life was like as a teen mom, and I share a few of the fun moments my children and I had. I talk about growing up with them because I was so young that we honestly grew up together. I share how they saw me make mistakes and how I fix them. I share how they're seeing a good coparenting relationship with their dads was critical. I never promote or encourage teen pregnancy because it is hard and life-changing. I do promote responsibility, honestly and the importance of a strong support system.
