About this listen

On December 16, 1989, 7 year old Leticia Hernandez was playing in front of her apartment building while her mother did laundry. When her mom stepped out of the laundry room, Leticia was gone.

There would be 18 sightings of Leticia between December 1989 thru May 1990 in California, Arizona, Mexico, Texas, Alabama & Florida.

On March 9, 1991, a caretaker working on property off Pala Temecula Road found a human skull. Dental records confirmed it was Leticia. Further searching found the red shorts she was wearing the day she disappeared from Oceanside. Leticia Hernandez had been found only 23 miles from her home.

Where the confirmed sightings of Leticia actually someone else? And who killed the sweet little girl with the shy smile?  We need justice for Leticia!

This case has been shelved, but you can still call Oceanside PD with tips at (760) 435-4900.
