One of the hardest experiences we all have to navigate in this lifetime is loss/ grief. It is an experience that can unite us or tear us apart. It can be painful and upsetting, but it can also be healing and freeing. Today, in The Lion's Pride, I want to talk about the Lessons of Loss that I have recently learned after the recent death of a family member. The saying goes "you never know what you have until it's gone" and that is a surreal truth when it comes to the people we care about. It's unfortunate, but sometimes our greatest lessons are discovered through pain. Loss makes you stop and look at life differently. It requires you to reflect on the life you are living and to ask yourself if you are LIVING or just EXISTING.
