A la fin de leur première journée de voyage, tous se retrouvent dans une grotte sous-marine pour dormir. Durant leur sommeil, les projecteurs du sous-marin balaient la grotte. Le matin, un pêcheur accoste sur l'île et découvre par hasard le refuge. Inconscients des dangers qui les guettent, les voyageurs poursuivent leur route.
