 Sarah Maldoror, réalisatrice, pionnière du cinéma panafricain, s’en est allée lundi 13 avril, emportée par le coronavirus. L’occasion de retracer la riche vie de cette réalisatrice engagée, pour qui le cinéma était avant tout un outil pour faire changer les consciences et “les décoloniser”. Dans l’hommage que lui rendent ses filles Annoucka et Hendra, celles-ci rappellent que pour leur mère, « le cinéma (était) un outil de la révolution, une éducation politique pour transformer les consciences ».
