 Giulio è un fotografo che ha girato il mondo grazie al suo lavoro. È partito dalla Sardegna pensando che la sua isola fosse troppo piccola per le sue ambizioni ed è riuscito a raggiungere tutti i suoi obiettivi lavorativi.
Però un giorno si rende conto che la terra che ha lasciato è come se fosse un paese straniero e sceglie di tornare per scoprire il suo passato e raccontare la Sardegna a tutto il resto del mondo.
