With his settlement cash plus other powerful connections and investors, Horner's arrival as a potential stakeholder and advisor could become effectively Red Bull 2.0...and a major thorn in Laurent Mekies' side.

Next year's driver market is going to be bananas and Charles Leclerc's camp knows this. In a similar position to Max Verstappen over at Red Bull, the Ferrari furniture driver is weighing up his options understandably. Why WOULDN'T you at least look? It could mean his 2029 endpoint may never be met if Ferrari do not throw the SF25 concept in the bin. As for Lewis Hamilton, his advice may be ignored completely and is that fair for such a man taking such a major risk on his own legacy to serve a boyhood dream?

Well, one thing is for sure. Ferrari are DEFINITELY in a crisis situation and doing everything they can to project unity and calm despite many unknowns!

Dr Helmut Marko, having won out against Christian Horner for control of Red Bull Racing realised his influence was weaker than he thought...or was never there to begin with. Not one week since his departure from the F1 team, the Austrian rails against the nature of his leaving and produces one last diatribe against it and Christian Horner. One last case to paint the Formula 1 team in a negative light; and that it was not the same as it was back when they launched in 2025. We are going to hear more from this man in 2026...just not with a Red Bull shirt on!
