  • Did the Grinch Get the Gospel Right? - Lights, Camera, CHRISTmas! Week 5
    Dec 27 2025

The wrapping paper is in the bin, the "new" has worn off the gifts, and the holiday hype is behind us. But what if the story isn't over? 🎁

In our final message of the year, we’re looking at why the Grinch didn't just stay on the mountain—he turned the sleigh around. From the "Who-ville" return trip to the story of a charred Stradivarius violin, we explore God not as a "scrap metal dealer," but as a Master Restorer.

    Watch to discover:

    • Why the "Sunday After" is the start of the Long Game.
    • The difference between coping with a mess and total restoration.

Don't just "cope" with the post-holiday slump. Join us to see how the Master is making all things new.

  • Is Love Enough to Stop the Chaos? - Lights, Camera, CHRISTmas! Week 4
    Dec 21 2025

    Welcome to "Lights, Camera, Christmas!"

In this series, we step out of the holiday rush to examine the core themes of Advent through the eyes of the Christmas story characters.

    A Surprise for Week 4... 🕯️

Today we will light the 4th candle of Advent—the candle of Love and unpack the faithfulness of Mary as a model for how we can live our lives in this crazy time.

If you feel 'entangled' in the mess of the news or the stress of the season, this message is for you. We’re mapping our fears to a Love that is stronger than the shadows. Don’t let the darkness extinguish your light. The King is on the move.

  • Why Is It So Hard to Find Joy at Christmas? Lights, Camera CHRISTmas! Week 3
    Dec 13 2025

Week 3: Joy – The Astonished Messenger

The holidays are supposed to be about joy, but for many of us, they just become a stressful chase for happiness—the perfect gift, the perfect party, the perfect moment. We spend so much energy pursuing that "peak experience," only to find that happiness is fragile and often leads to disappointment or exhaustion (think of the chaos of a traffic jam on Mount Everest! ).

But what if the greatest joy isn't something you chase?

Big Idea: Jesus offers joy in the midst of pain.

In Week 3 of Lights, Camera, CHRISTmas, we look at the Shepherds, the unlikeliest recipients of the greatest news ever announced. They were terrified when the sky opened up, proving that the announcement of great joy often happens in the middle of chaos and fear, not after it's gone.

Join us as we explore the Shepherds' story and learn how to claim the indestructible joy that Jesus provides—a joy rooted in the truth of Romans 8:1 (NLT): "So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus." This Christmas, stop chasing the peak and step into the stable. Find the "great joy" that is available to all people, no matter what you're dealing with.
