Situace okolo zvoleného poslance Filipa Turka (Motoristé sobě) je podobná jako před čtyřmi lety kolem Jana Lipavského (nestr. za ODS), neboť nominantem na ministra zahraničí je juniorní kandidát. V pořadu 360° na CNN Prima NEWS to uvedl politolog Jan Kubáček. Dříve se post šéfa diplomacie uděloval podle zkušeností, a tak by to podle něj mělo být i v současnosti. Poslanec Jiří Pospíšil (TOP 09) však tvrdí, že situace okolo Turka a Lipavského je rozdílná.
