    May 10 2024

Is there really only one right way to make a Philly cheesesteak?

Well, we tried, and there are probably those who would say, "That's not the right Philly cheesesteak!" But honestly, I don't care. This one, with a couple of our tweaks, was perfection – and I mean it!

But we aren't just sticking to cheesesteaks. We're also having a word or two about other great sandwiches like the Cuban, the classic club, and what makes these sandwiches so special in different cities.

So, if you’re here for the love of a good cheesesteak or just wondering about our secret ingredients that go into making one, you’re in the right place.

  • Chicken Pot Pie - The Best Recipe By Far
    Apr 26 2024

This time we’re talking about a recipe that is going to blow your mind, I promise – Poor Man’s Chicken Pot Pie.

And you know what the best part is? This recipe’s so simple you can’t mess it up, and you likely got most of the ingredients already in your kitchen. Even if you don’t, they are absolutely budget-friendly.

    So, here’s what we got:

    • Ingredients that won’t break the bank,
    • Easy as pie to make,
    • Super delicious.

If you ask me, I’d say we got ourselves a perfect dish. Or, if not perfect, at least good enough to become a star for all those people tired of complicated recipes and the not-so-good-for-you stuff from the store.

In addition to the chicken pot pie recipe, we also talked about the high-calorie, high-sugar food they serve up at fast food joints. (Personally, I could really see fast food chains going out of business because of that.)

  • Egg Salad vs. Pimento Cheese - The Ultimate Sandwich Battle
    Apr 12 2024

Just in time for The Masters, we're tackling the age-old question:

Which one is better - pimento cheese sandwich or egg salad sandwich?

Picture this: a sunny day, the greens of Augusta laid out in front of you, and the toughest choice isn't picking a favorite golfer but deciding between these two classic snacks.

So, we set out to recreate the iconic pimento cheese and egg salad sandwich recipes to put this debate to bed… (Well, I'm just saying this for kicks - we all know this debate's never really going to end.)

But no matter which one is your favorite or which one you think is the winner, these easy recipes are sure to be a hit at your Masters Tournament party.

In addition to these two sandwiches, in this episode, like always, we ended up wandering down some unexpected paths, turning the conversation into more than just a debate over food.

We talked about the joy of golf tournaments, why Wes doesn’t like the food in Augusta, and what’s that one thing I’ll definitely add to my pimento cheese sandwich next time.

    Curious?

Join us for Episode 95 of Kosmo Unfiltered, and let's chat about golf tournaments and the sandwiches that make them even more exciting.
