Dr. Roger Kuhn is a Poarch Creek Two-Spirit Indigiqueer soma-cultural sex therapist, sexuality educator, writer, activist, and musician. He holds a PhD in Human Sexuality with a concentration in clinical practice, a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Kuhn is a California-licensed marriage and family therapist and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist.
His work centers on the intersection of pleasure and intimacy, emphasizing how the body's relationship to culture shapes, challenges, and influences human experiences. Guided by principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusivity, Dr. Kuhn integrates somatic awareness with psychological healing and social justice principles.
Beyond his clinical and academic work, Dr. Kuhn is a community organizer for the Bay Area American Indian Two-Spirit powwow and a board member of the Two-Spirit & Native LGBTQ+ Center for Equity. He is also a musician and author, with his book Somacultural Liberation and album Running With This Dream available through various platforms.
