Summary

My podcast creates a safe, open space for women whose voices are often silenced, dismissed, or ignored. I speak with guests who bring lived experience, honesty, and courage to conversations that matter.

I’m especially interested in speaking with women who:

  • Have been bullied, cancelled, or harassed online or in their communities, and want to share their story of resilience.
  • Are “trans widows” – women whose male partners transitioned and who experienced loss, coercion, or abuse in that process.
  • Have trans-identifying family members, and are navigating the grief, isolation, or pressure to self-censor that often comes with it.
  • Want to shed light on the impact of coercive control, narcissistic abuse, and the broader culture of silencing women’s realities.

This podcast aims to amplify stories that are too often kept in the shadows — giving voice to truth-tellers, survivors, and women who have faced backlash for speaking openly.

If your experience touches on these themes and you’re ready for a thoughtful, respectful, and empowering conversation, I’d love to hear from you.

  • Geordie Roots & Global Lessons: How Prison Saved My Life
    May 7 2026

"I would definitely have died some other way."

In this incredibly raw and unfiltered conversation, Susan Universe shares a life story that sounds like a movie script. From a feral childhood in North Shields and being ghosted by her own family, to the reckless years that led to her being detained in a Spanish prison at just 22 years old—Susan has seen the darkest corners of life.

But here is the shock: Susan says prison saved her life.

    We talk about:

The Spanish Prison Experience: What it’s really like to be locked up in a foreign country with no language, no money, and no windows.

Sisterhood in the Shadows: Meeting the "most dangerous woman in Spain" and finding humanity in the most unlikely places.

The Breaking Point: A midnight encounter with the North Sea at Tynemouth that changed everything.

The Return: Coming home to Newcastle and the long road from "scruffy kid" to High Priestess and transformational coach.

Susan’s journey is a testament to the fact that shame dies when stories are told. If you feel stuck, silenced, or like your past defines you, this episode is for you.

  • Betrayal & Forgiveness: How to Rebuild After a Partner Transitions
    Apr 29 2026

Navigating Betrayal and the Passion Paradox

In this episode, I’m joined by US-based psychologist and author Bruce Chalmer to discuss the deep mechanics of betrayal, intimacy, and the Passion Paradox. We dive into what happens when a partner transitions, why society forbids women from feeling betrayed, and how to tell the difference between ideas and ideology.

    We discuss:

The 7-Word Formula: Why "Be Kind, Don’t Panic, and Have Faith" is the foundation of successful relationships.

Betrayal vs. Hurt: Why a betrayal makes you doubt your own sanity and judgment.

The Stability/Intimacy Paradox: Why the very things that make a marriage stable can often kill the intimacy.

Ideology as a Mind-Killer: How gender ideology (and religious ideology) turns humane ideas into oppressive caricatures.

Sexual Peaks in your 70s? Why maturity is more important than hormones for deep connection.

  • Survival Guide for Narcissistic Divorce and High-Conflict Custody
    Apr 23 2026

Are you dealing with a high-conflict divorce or a narcissistic co-parent?

In this episode, Kelly Oliver Dougall sits down with clinical psychologist Dr. David Marcus, who has spent over 40 years helping families under extreme stress. Dr. Marcus pulls back the curtain on how narcissistic parents operate in the courtroom and, more importantly, how their behaviour forces children into roles (like the pleaser or mediator) that prevent them from developing their true selves.

    In this interview, we discuss:

The Narcissistic Window: Why they draw you in only to push you away.

The Child's Burden: Why kids take on the Not Me role to keep their parents okay.

Courtroom Reality: Why traditional therapy often fails with narcissists and why Dr. Marcus insisted on having teeth in the legal system.

The Empty Depression: How childhood roles impact adult relationships.

Parent Rx: Strategies for communication and becoming a "soothing presence" for your children.
