കണിശക്കാരനാണ്,

തനിച്ചു മടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ എല്ലാം കണക്ക് തീർത്തു തന്നിരുന്നു

സ്ത്രീധന തുക ,പണയം വെച്ച മാല അനിയത്തിക്ക് കൊടുത്ത വള,

ഒക്കെ..,

പക്ഷേ, വേദനിക്കുന്ന നെറ്റിയിൽ മുത്തം കൊടുത്തതിന്റെ,

പ്രാണനൂറ്റി വേവിച്ച ചോറ് വിളമ്പിയതിന്റെ,

വഴിക്കണ്ണുമായ്‌ കാത്തിരുന്നതിന്റെ,

പനികിടക്കയ്ക്കരികിൽ കാതോർത്തുറങ്ങാതിരുന്നതിന്റെ,

മെയ്യും മനസ്സും, ഓരോ അണുവും, അറിഞ്ഞു നൽകിയതിന്റെ,

അവന്നു കണക്കുതീർക്കാനാകാത്ത കുടിശ്ശികയാണെനിക്കിഷ്ട്ടം .

കാരണം, എന്നെന്നേക്കും അവനെന്റെ കടക്കാരനാണല്ലോ .
