About this listen

There are various traditional fairy tales and many well-known ones in the world today. These traditional fairy tales often give readers fun and lessons in common. Unlike traditional fairy tales from many other countries, Korean traditional fairy tales are not well known to readers around the world, even though they are worth much to inform.

Taking advantage of the current trend of increasing interest in K-contents such as K-pop and K-drama, we would like to convey Korean traditional fairy tales to readers through podcasts in English, a more popular language. So we came under the name of K-folktale Stations with the concept of getting on the subway leaving for the past with listeners and listening to one story at each station. In addition to simply telling the story, we will shed light on the past culture and customs of Korea that appear in the scene of the story, and share what it means to us today. You who love old stories, have a relaxting time at K-folk stations!
