Overall description: A young girl, Katie Hart, begins to receive synchronistic signs of a spiritual presence as well as telepathically connecting with an imaginary Shaman while her and her eldest sibling, Britni, are abused by their father, B. Blackwood, for several years. As their mother, Jamie, grieves the tragic murder of her son, Ash, a few years prior, she suddenly realizes she is trapped in a sadistic marriage. Challenges arise for the three of them while living under the same roof, and unexpectedly their mother decides to take a leap of faith risking their lives to leave and save her two daughters before it's too late. Apprehensive of their future, fearful of being found by their past, the remorseless B. Blackwood hires a private investigator to locate them. They attempt to embrace new beginnings, as Jamie, their mother, cloaks their identity relocating in the countryside. After moving into a little condo in town, she suddenly meets the love of her life, Tucker Guillermo.
