About this listen

Welcome to The Het - the only museum of Straight Culture.

This week, museum curator Joe Sutherland welcomes JUST MAY (Rupaul’s Drag Race UK) to submit their favourite relics of straight culture to be preserved in The Het.

The relics of heterosexual culture up for debate this week are:

  • Friends (the TV show)
  • The Big Light

But due to government cuts to the arts and heritage sector, only one can be saved. Which will make it into The Het’s esteemed collection?

Plus: Drag Brunch and incognito train journeys, reparations for Kathleen Turner and Ellie Goulding.

🎧 Listen, subscribe, and help preserve straight history — before it’s lost forever.

You can also watch and subscribe to The Het on Youtube

Just May:

The star of 22 and a half minutes of RuPauls Drag Race UK Season 4, and self proclaimed “Worlds Premier Geri Halliwell Impersonator”.

She’s the bona fide queen of the Drag Brunch (you’ll see here anywhere with a sausage and egg on a Saturday morning), the go to gal for any camp party (staff, Christmas, Zoom…), the killer Queen on the mic from Sink the Pink (RIP)
