About this listen

Judith Eva Barsi's roles as Ducky in "The Land Before Time" and Anne-Marie in "All Dogs Go to Heaven" were foundations of our childhoods (well, at least those raised in the 80s and 90s). Yet, few probably recall that these two films were released posthumously. After years of threats from an alcoholic father, Jozsef Barsi carried through, and on July 28, 1988, Judith was found dead, along with her Mother and Father. The daughter of Hungarian immigrants, this American Dream ended in a terrible nightmare of family violence.
In this episode, Carls speaks for the adorable Judith Barsi and her mother Maria, in this season
