  • The Day I Ditched Crystals (and why)
    Oct 27 2025

I share the raw, unfiltered journey of how the sudden death of my fiancé and life partner led to a spiritual awakening I never saw coming. From being a cradle Catholic who distanced herself from the faith, to returning with a broken heart.

On what would have been a lonely, grief-stricken birthday, I experienced an unexpected spiritual breakthrough that began with pain, confusion, and even physical symptoms. What followed was a powerful encounter with God that led me to throw away crystals, tarot cards, and manifestation journals and find my way back to confession after 25 years.

I speak honestly about struggling with panic attacks, spiritual heaviness, and skepticism, and how Psalm 91 became my lifeline in the night. My story is a testament to God’s mercy, the healing power of the sacraments, and the mysterious ways grace works.

  • How I became a widow (-ish)
    Oct 21 2025

After hitting publish, I realized that I didn't really explain why I added the -ish after widow. And it is because I'm not really a widow. We were not married. We got engaged in April 2022 and he died 16 months later. We had plans to marry in early 2024 in Puerto Rico (where I'm from). So... am I really a widow? Not legally. Not in the Catholic Church. But most of the time, I do feel like one. What do you think? Are you in a similar situation?

When the unthinkable happened, losing my fiancé and partner of 11 years, I was left holding more than grief. I was holding our son, our memories. In this raw and deeply personal episode, I open up about the day my life changed forever, the spiritual silence that followed, and how grief challenged everything I believed about faith, love, and divine presence.

If you’re a woman of faith who’s ever felt abandoned in your suffering, this episode is for you.
