When Larry Freeborg turned forty, he lost his wife to leukemia and was left to raise four young children. At the same time, his eighteen-year job was eliminated due to an economic downturn. His situation was dire: no wife, no money, no job, and four children to raise.

He initially found relief in a psychiatric unit, where he learned the powerful truth behind Always At Choice. Larry chose to move forward with his children. He moved through decades of workshops and coaching certifications to facilitate his understanding and healing. In Always At Choice, he shares the lessons he learned on his journey out of trauma and loss and back into life.
