Jacob comes to a crossroads that will affect not only his future, but his family and ultimately all mankind. His situation is one that is common to us all, in varying intensity--the moment when we face the consequences of our choices and our upbringing. We approach the intersection of the divinity and the humanity within the soul of man. It becomes a moment of opportunity to be real with God and decide whether to avoid or confront the identity that has befallen me or pursue the one that is awaiting me even if it seems so foreign.

Comfort My People is a direct quote from Isaiah 40:1. It is a command from God, yet widely ignored for centuries. Out of the ignorance came a doctrine that is known as Replacement Theology.
