Jorge Sierra Fonseca, an Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at Chatham University, a member of the Science Department's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, and a Researcher of chronic stress and its neurochemical effects on the brain. In this episode, we discuss some of Jorge's passions/hobbies, growing up in Juarez, Mexico, and then coming to the United States to pursue higher education, and his path leading to his current role in academia. 

K(no)w Last Times is the result of a combined effort from the members of Chatham University's Science Department's DEI Committee. Our mission is to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through the inspiring stories of professors at Chatham University. We also hope to bring faculty and students together by demystifying their titles and sharing the exciting journey that brought them to Chatham University.
