Welcome to the second episode of Stories From A Good Father! The Bible calls God our good father in heaven and in this podcast, we tell stories for children that reveal God’s nature as a good father.
In this episode, we tell the story of Jonah from the Bible in the form of a fun poem.
Jonah lived in Israel in the 8th century BC, a long time ago. In those days, God often sent messages through individuals who were called ‘prophets.’ While most prophets received messages for the people of Israel, Jonah had a rather unusual assignment, one that made him run the opposite direction!
What was this message? Will Jonah ever agree to do what God was asking him?
