About this listen
John Davey has enjoyed more than 25 years in professional library management, information specialization, and legal research, administering and supervising numerous staffs of library professionals and paraprofessionals in legal business environments. He began his library career at Michigan’s Music Library, then moved to New York and transitioned into law firms, beginning at Paul, Weiss. Later, John served at Dewey Ballantine, Epstein Becker & Green; Dechert Price & Rhoads; and Sullivan & Cromwell, and is now the Library Manager at Alston & Bird’s New York office. Along the way, he was active with AALL, SLA, and LLAGNY, serving as President in 2013-2014. Also an accomplished musician and tenor, John leads a rich, full life in New York City and upstate.
