  • How to Ask Questions in Church and Still be a Christian
    Mar 19 2022

One of the hardest things to do as a Christian is to feel comfortable asking questions in front of other Christians. We're scared to death other believers might think less of us for asking a really stupid question no one else struggles with. So, we keep our Qs to ourselves.

My hope is to stir up our minds to ask questions by creating an environment in small groups where questions are not only encouraged but the answers are pursued. So many Christians have questions concerning the Bible, God, the world, and even their own salvation. Christian fellowship ought to be the place where these issues are worked out rather than rehashing the old phrase "just have more faith".

  • Why Busy Churches Aren’t Satisfying for Christians
    Mar 7 2022
There are times when ministry programs are extremely fruitful for the church. There are other times when their usefulness is well past expired. Your spiritual well-being as an individual believer on the other hand is always worth time, energy, and resources. Let's not substitute the latter for the former.  It may be time to reanalyze what the focus of your relationship with Christ is all about. It also may be time to reconsider what your church's vision is; even if there is one.   YouTube link: https://youtu.be/Zn5bNNPcY20

  • Research Suggests Vocation-Based Programs Will Bring People Back to Church
    Feb 26 2022

Barna Group research suggests the main reason why the masses aren't coming to church stems from the lack of vocation-based preaching and programs available. The people seek life skills, job fairs, and work-focused seminars. Should the church lead the way with programs to deliver the goods? Or is there a better way to be the church that will bring back the fold? #christianity #church #jesus #discipleship
