 À l'été 1936, une jeune Danoise de 22 ans ose une aventure solitaire et pose pied sur la côte ouest du Groenland. Dans son traîneau : une caméra, un flash, et surtout, une ambition que l'administration coloniale avait balayée d'un revers de main quelques mois auparavant. Jette Bang a déjoué tous les pronostics en autofinançant son expédition, suite au refus catégorique du ministère danois.Huit mois plus tard, elle allait pourtant offrir au Danemark un spectacle visuel inédit. Des clichés qui vont métamorphoser la représentation visuelle de l’Arctique.
