It's important to apply what is being learned. In this episode, tools are given to evaluate one's progress after taking the 30 days of this prescription.

How wonderful to do as Paul is asking for people to do. Those belonging to God, to lift up holy hands in prayer without anger or disputing. How can we have holy hands if we are angry with one another who are on the same team? It leads to destruction.

I had to add Psalm 149 because we are told God gives us a weapon to use.

In the episode I discuss the importance of letting anger go before it takes root in your life. Wise words are given and we are told to be "slow to anger", and how God is patient.

This prescription goes well with the prescription for love. When releasing your anger and giving it to God, you will be able to rejoice. You can rejoice "in the morning" when you rid anger in your heart and mind before going to sleep each night.

We discussed in episode 52 the effects of anger. Anger can keep you awake at night. Don't allow it to get a foothold on your life. Freedom comes as anger leaves.

What life does God intend for those who have come to Him through Jesus? Anger does not allow His righteousness to shine. Are you stumbling in the darkness of anger? Do you need to allow God light to shine so you can pick up those things and walk freely in His righteousness?

Anger swelling up among family members, including the family of God will destroy each other. Don't allow this to happen. Don't allow others actions to spark the flame of anger and allow it to get out of control.
