 In this episode of my four-part Jennie’s Law series, Elma shares her story of leaving an abusive marriage after years of mental abuse. She talks about her ex-partner’s alcoholism, the safety order she obtained, his breach and conviction, and why she believes it’s so important for anyone entering a relationship with him to know his history.

Elma is now in a happy and peaceful relationship and hopes her story inspires other women in similar situations to leave and know that there is happiness after abuse.
