Lori is an entertainment executive and single mother, who has been living with Stage 4 cancer. She has only told a handful of neighbors on her tight knit block, mainly because of how awkward and sad those interactions can be. She has tried dating, but that has its own set of challenges. Does she tell them on the first date? When writing her profile, should she put "long-term relationship" in quotes?
Lori reads three of her stories for the pilot, Oh My God, I'm Dying, Unsaid, and My Non-Sex Life. She has written many more. Her writing is blunt, nuanced, and often funny. Her performance is polished, but at times raw, as she shares her inner thoughts with the listener, thoughts she had been keeping to herself until now.
