William King Harvey galt als der "James Bond" der CIA. Harvey war in den 50er und 60er Jahren für geheime Kommando-Aktionen wie den Berliner Spionagetunnel und die Planung abstreitbarer Staatsmorde zuständig gewesen. Seine Karriere für verdeckte Operationen gegen Fidel Castro beendete ein Streit mit den Kennedys. Im Sommer 1963 unternahm der nach Rom strafversetzte Harvey eine geheimnisvolle Reise nach Dallas. Nunmehr wurde eine lage gesperrte Akte über Harvey freigegeben.
