  • I’m Navigating Being a Founder & Cofounder Dynamics with Nathan Parcells
    Apr 7 2023

It’s another day and you’re thinking about being. You’re not alone. On today’s episode, Maryam talks about what it means to be a founder, what it means to have a cofounder, and how to navigate the emotional journey of founder life. She’s joined today by Nathan Parcells. Nathan is a founder turned executive coach and specializes in co-founder dynamics.

Being a founder means consistently making hard decisions with limited resources and information. It means paving a new path, and doing something no one else has done before. Startups may have a solo founder, or one or more co founders.

The relationship between co-founders, and how co-founders work together can make or break a company. Ensuring you have the right people in the right places especially in the early stages of a company’s inception is key. When cofounders have a strained relationship, it can lead to miscommunication, conflicts, and lack of critical alignment.

    Key Takeaways:

    1. What it means to be a founder
    2. Cofounder Dynamics
    3. The founder experience
    4. Founder lifecycle
