Ursprünglich hätte Charli XCX nur ein Lied dafür beisteuern sollen, schlussendlich war sie so inspiriert von der Story, dass sie gleich ein ganzes Album geschrieben hat, auf "Wuthering Heights" sind neben Charli XCX auch John Cale und Sky Ferreira zu hören.
