Coming to you from the heart of Astoria, New York City, this is the Banter Super League, an independently produced video podcast all about the art of banter in football-- or for you uncultured swine out there, soccer. Co-hosted by Jesse Moritz and Emir Deljanin.
For now, we'll be focusing primarily on the "big six" premier league clubs: Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur. But we will touch on all things football, while also occasionally dabbling in broader topics within sports, culture, and New York City.
We're hosting our first event (of many), which is a watch party for the Man United vs. Arsenal game, this Sunday, August 17th at Clara's Bushwick. We'll have an open bar available, and it's going to be an absolutely classic opening match for the upcoming season of both the Premier League, and the Banter Super League.
