In this episode, I have a conversation with Gabriela Barrágon from Season 3 of Below Deck Sailing. If you remember, Gabriela did quit towards the end of the charter season and she has been rebuilding her life ever since she left the show. Gabriela shares with me what life has been like after being on Below Deck, how it has impacted her ability to get jobs as a yachtie, and the misconceptions about her that were portrayed on television.
Gabriela and I also talked about her experience with production and the cast, the good, the bad, and the indifferent. Gabriela also discusses the reality reckoning happening against NBC Universal/Bravo and how it felt for her when Bravo announced that cast members could break their NDAs to speak out against workplace conditions.
