Interactive Reflection - Episode 006

  • Summary

  • Summary

In this episode, Russ Broomell discusses the importance of self-reflection. Self-reflection allows us to examine our actions, motivations, and core values. It helps us understand what drives us and why certain decisions are important to us. Self-reflection cuts through the BS and gives us a reality check. It empowers us to identify our passions and appreciate our quirks.

The conversation explores the importance of self-reflection in both personal and professional spheres. Russ also shares John Wesley's 22 Questions as a powerful tool for spiritual self-reflection.

Self-reflection can be a powerful and positive experience, but it can also be challenging and confront us with painful truths. It is important to seek help if needed and to be surrounded by people who love and support us.

After an interactive exercise, Russ discusses the importance of reflecting on what we're learning from others. He reads a bit of Shakespeare too, oddly enough. Reflecting on what others have taught us helps us gain a deeper appreciation for the people who have shaped our lives. It also helps us identify areas where we may need to seek out new relationships or mentors to continue growing and learning.

Lots of opportunities for interactivity in this episode!
